The Flamenco Performing Arts Studio was established in 1990 by the Tedesco Brothers as a centre for all things Flamenco. Since its establishment, it has become Melbourne’s best known Flamenco dance centre, offering regular general classes, private tuition and workshops in Flamenco dance,guitar,cajon,and cante.

Class Description

Introduction Course
This six-week course is designed to introduce the beginner to the basics 
of flamenco dance and rhythms. No experience necessary.

Beginners 1
At least six weeks of flamenco experience.
It is recommended that students complete one introduction course
or the equivalent.

Beginners 2
At least two years of flamenco experience.

CLASS TIMETABLE  

Introduction Course - Tuesday 7pm - 8pm (no experience necessary)

Beginners 1- Tuesday 8pm - 9pm (at least 6 weeks experience)

Beginners 2 - Wednesday 7pm - 9pm (at least 2 years experience)

WHAT TO WEAR?

Female students should wear a closed toe shoe with a solid heel of at least 3cm, such as a character style shoe, comfortable pants or full skirt and fitted top. Male students should wear a heeled shoe or boot (preferable with a heel of at least 3 cm, such as a Cuban style heel) comfortable pants and t-shirt or shirt.
